Insurance and billing can be confusing and we want to help minimize any problems you may experience regarding payment from your insurance company for your services. Due to the hundreds of insurance companies that offer vision benefits, we realize the need to inform you of our policies regarding insurance filing.
Kennewick Vision Care is a provider for the following insurances:
- Premera Blue Cross
- Blue Cross/Blue Shield
- Asuris Northwest
- Vision Service Plan (VSP)
- Group Health
- Medicare/Palmetto Railroad Medicare
- Washington State Medical (DSHS)
- March Vision/Molina
- Ocular Benefits/Amerigroup
- Opticare/Coordinated Care
If you have insurance with a company for which we are providers, we will collect any applicable co-payments and charges for non-covered services from you at the time of service. We will file a claim for services to your insurance company and expect to be reimbursed by your insurance company. Please be aware that payment from your insurance company cannot be guaranteed, and benefits are not determined until your claim is processed. You will be financially responsible for any claim your insurance company denies.
If we are not providers for your insurance company, we will file a claim to your insurance company on your behalf. However, you will be financially responsible for any charges not covered by your policy.
This list was developed based on insurance companies our doctors are contracted with. We realize that you may have an insurance that we accepted previously that is no longer on the above list.
